Classes are coming to a close...

Peru is only 29 days away. Yet, I still find myself doing work for classes. College students live rough lives huh? Other than that, college has been winding down rather nicely. Grad week is on the horizon, my whole family will be present for graduation and a new macbook is on the way as a graduation present. We just recently celebrated my roommate's bday this past Thursday. It was rather perfect if I might say so myself (and in fact he did too). Our first surprise of the day was taking him to the infamous Pizza Hut Buffet. Now, I don't know how many people really appreciate the wonder of this buffet. You only have to pay $6 for as many pizza and bread sticks you can eat! Also, to appreciate this even more, you have to know my roommate. Pizza Hut pizza is far and away his favorite pizza. It's rather ridiculous. To prove it, that night after the buffet, he still wanted to order pizza hut. Our second surprise involved a big metal barrel of something and a lot of people. It was a blast. Also, Ken, a fellow Peru 11 PCV, actually got to partake in the festivities. He seems normal...hahaha jk.

So I've got one final in the hole and two to go (International Banking and Real Estate Finance, ugh). Seeing as how classes are winding down, I want to unleash a top 10 classes of college list (not all are on the list b/c of their content).

10. Multicultural Issues in Human Communication
- Yea, I couldn't tell you what this class was about but our star basketball player sat next to me one class and borrowed my pencil and that definitely is why it's on the list

9. Medical Ethics
- If you ever don't like a requirement for your degree, take it online, its just a tid bit easier. Also, this was a fascinating topic.

8. Advanced Financial Management
- This is a shocker. It's like a cinderella. The professor was mean and demanded a lot out of us ( a case study along with excel spreads every freakin class 2nd semester senior year!!). However, I got the most out of this class.

7. All Spanish Classes in the U.S.
- Speaking Spanish is awesome. Nuff said.

6. International Banking
- First day of class, my friend and I were sitting there listening to a tiny oriental man and looked at each other with the same look of fear. However, we'd soon find out this professor is the nicest, most caring, cool professor probably in the whole business school. He called me handsome at least 4 times throughout the semester. Don't get that too often.

5. Change and Organizations
- Everyone in the business school knows this is an easy A. However, the professor who teaches it is a very personable and knowledgeable professor. He taught a lot of practical information regarding organizations. Side note: He took us all out for a free happy hour too.

4. Intensive Business Spanish (Sevilla)
- This was the first class I had in Sevilla. Lots of great things here. 3 hour sessions everyday for a month can only bring about lots of great things.

3. International Marketing (Sevilla)
- Professor Curro, what can I say. The man called me Brian even though I told him a million times it was Ryan. However, he was really nice and cool. Also, he looked like Gus Gus from Cinderella. My first 30 page paper written in Spanish was in this class too, rather large accomplishment. Though the rating suffered due to its 8AM timing twice a week while abroad!!!

2. Playwriting
- This was the coolest class ever. I love using my creativity. I got to write two plays and see them acted out in class. Now that's what I call a writing class, none of this thesis smeshish

1. Operations Management (Sevilla)
- Wow this professor was da bomb. I can't tell you how cool he was. He invited us to his house for paella and drinks (what professor would do that in the U.S.?). He also told
me what the number 5 means in Spanish (it's too inappropriate to reveal). Really showed us how to live it up in Sevilla.

I think I made up for my last top 10 list with this one. The last one was pretty dull. This one I'm kinda proud of haha. Til next time.
